대만 행정원대륙위원회(行政院大陸委員會) 자오찌엔민(趙建民) 부주임은 최근 내년에 열릴 대만측 해기회(SEF,台灣海峽交流基金會)와 중국 해협회（ARATS，中國海峽兩岸關係協會）간 제 5차 강진회담(江陳會談)의 주요의제에 양안간 언론및 문화교류가 포함될 가능성을 시사했다.
4일 주한타이페이 대표부에 따르면, 차오 부주임은 이날 '양 이(楊毅)’ 국장이 이끌고 온 중국측 국무원산하 대만판공실（中國國務院台灣辦公室）언론사절단과의 만찬에서 이같이 시사하면서, “대만은 다양하고 열린사회이기 때문에, 특히 언론과 문화교류는 중국이 심도있게 검토해야 한다”고 말했다.
아울러 “올 하반기에 열릴 제 4차 강진회담(江陳會談)에서 5차 강진회담 주제에 대한 아젠다(Agenda)가 구체화되면서, 아마도 양국간 언론,문화,교육등 교류에 대한 내용이 포함될 전망”이라고 덧붙였다.

Chao Chien-min, deputy minister of the Mainland Affairs Council under the Executive Yuan saidrecently thatmedia and cultural issues may be included in next year’s fifth talks between Taiwan’s Straits Exchange Foundation Chairman Chiang Pin-king（SEF)and his mainland counterpart Chen Yunlin, chairman of the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait（ARATS).
According to Taipei Mission in Korea today, Chao hosted a banquet for the ARATS media delegation led by Yang Yi, director of the mainland’s Information Department of the Taiwan Affairs Office under the State Council.
He said Taiwan is a diverse and open society, and media and cultural issues are Taiwan’s strong suit in relations with the mainland. At the fourth Chiang-Chen talks in the latter half of this year it is expected that the agenda for the fifth talks will be planned, and at that point journalism, culture, and educatio! n could all possibly be included.
