Only a few decades ago, all of track-and-field experts pompously had been sure that no human-being can run one mile in less than four minutes.
And for years, they were right. Because nobody dare to challenge to broke this barrier, what's called 'Four-Minute-Mile barrier'
But one day a young man, named Roger Bannister, came along who didn't believe this taboo barrier. He did not dwell on the impossibilities.
Only his own faith and positive attitude, he stepped up for the new.
He refused all negative sayings, then he started to train, believing that he's going to break that record.
One day he could do it, and surely enough he broke the Four-Minute-Mile barrier.
He wrote sports history again. Because after his victory, More 300 other runners had broken this Four-Minute-Mile record as well, in succession, one after another.
One technology service-based company, named 'Chang-Jo E & Tech' has been spotlighted because of its advanced efforts in the field of system engineering for building control, as a pioneer of BAS and its solution in Korea.
"BAS means building automatic system that has not long history. This system, I dare to say, is inclusive of internet-based varuous technology's concepts" said CEO, Jung Bok Jin who recently got honorable mention from Ministry of Land, Transport, and Maritime Affairs in his technical soultion service field.
We could have an interview with him to know about his portfolio in business, and management.
We are 'Can-Do' people, So Nothing is going to be able to keep us down.
Q 1) We know that you already applied BAS to famous building in Korea such as Jeju World-cup stadium, and KEDO nuclear power plant. Besides we heard about your business plan in Vietnam. Can you explain about that ?
A 1) Yes, we found out that Vietnam is a land of possibility with lots of oil fields, and that it is rich in human resources.
So that's why we have a branch office there.
Q 2) As far as we know, you have made out that the furure of Korean construction business will be depending on local government's social infra-structure. Could you tell us WHY ?
A 2) The key is how quickly and efficiently we get the building-invigorating policy. In order to do that, the central and local governmet should make a perfect population policy focusing on population decentralization, for an instance, destruction of the gap between Seoul and local city.
Q 3) Could you say about your own philosophy for management ?
A 3) My creed for business management is firstly, 'Do not dwell on the negative thoughts !' Because all of us can turn around to 'Can-Do' people.
If we live with a positive attitude of hope, Nothing is going to be able to keep us down.
