Mr.Walter Yeh, Executive Vice President of TAITRA(Taiwan External Trade Development Council) June 29 offered a friendly talk with reporters at Hotel Westin Chosun to show up the recent whole situation of Taiwanese international exhibition BIZ, hoping to get more cooperation with Korean exhibitors.
'Korea and Taiwan each needs a strategic tie in the field of marketing and exhibition business, especially for electronic parts, computers, ITC, and other BIZ relating to auto-parts. Because the both has mutual-cooperation based competitiveness in industry' said Water Yhe.
Regarding the international brands from many exhibitions & fair hosted by TAITRA, he said ' I dare to point out that Taiwanese ITC industry has been regarded as the world-wide class due to particular design and creation, to which even William H Gates has paid greatly attentioned' he continued.
According to TAITRA, LG group already invested in Taiwan for assembly-based manufacturing BIZ, and Samsung also has used lots of electronic & ITC parts made in Taiwan, equivalent to USD 4 billion annually.
'If Korean ITC industry join with Taiwanese, making more lubricated exchange by mutual participating exhibition fairs, it would be easier for the both to conquer ITC's world market' he said it continously.
In the meanwhile, today's friendly talks teemed with many reporters, such as from Maeil Business newspaper, Daily Chosun, Korea news(大韓News), including those from Taiwan Marcoview TV, and the Central News Agency, being followed by vigorous Q&A between Walter Yeh and reporters.
