There was a semi-presentation & luncheon co-hosted by China's Hainan government, as well as Univera, regarded as the best success model of business in Hainan, July 4 at Lotte Hotel, to show up Univera's great success and Hainan's detailed environment for investment.
L C Wei, the Chief staff of Communist party of Hainan province, through opening speech, said about the importance of economy based-cooperation, and its possibility from bilateral tie.
And subsequently Bill Lee's address of welcome, the CEO & Chairman of Univera, was made. He said ' The crucial reason why we can bring ourselves to invest in Hainan was not because of good environment for invest there, but of Hainan government's positive effort and careful concern for us'
According to Bill Lee, his next success legend would focus on establishment of world wide-luxurious resort complex, with cooperation with Hainan's partner.
'Hainan offers the fresh air and clean nature-based background, with which we can set up new milestone in another business area' he added.
Univera Inc is a Korea-based global Corp & manufacturer, specialized in 'Aloe' and other health food, having plant & subsidiary each in China, and America.
Meanwhile, many distinguished attendants like J P Kim(Former deputy prime minister), and Soo-Man Lee(Chairman of S.M.Entertainment)also shared pleasant time with the delegates from Hainan China.
중국하이난(海南)성 정부 대표단은 최근 서울롯데호텔에서 ‘투자환경설명회’를 개최했다. 성 정부 대표단은 이날 설명회를 통해 하이난 성의 경제적 입지와 한국 기업들의 투자현황및 경제적 효과에 대해 설명했다.
衛留成(웨이류청)하이난성 위원회 서기는 한국기업과 하아난간의 합작의 중요성을 강조하면서, 한국은 자금.기술관리등의 경험이 풍부하고, 하이난에는 품부한 노동력과 천혜의 자연환경이 있다고 한국기업 관계자들에게 말했다.
특히 그는 관광및 서비스, 농업및 수산업, 기초시설분야,교육등은 한국기업이 투자하기에 가장 좋은 분야라고 강조했다
한편 이날 최고의 하이라이트는 ‘유니베라’였다.
유니베라(CEO:이병훈)는 2000년 하이난에 투자, 약 430만 평방미터 규모의 농장에서 알로에를 생산.가공을 통해 중국현지에서 성공한 기업의 대표적 모델로 인정받고 있다.
특히 유니베라의 현지법인은 중국내 30위내의 경쟁력을 가질정도로 최고의 경쟁력을 자랑할 정도.
한편 이날 설명회에는 유니베라 이병훈 CEO와 경복고등학교 선후배 사이인 S.M 엔터테인먼트 이수만 회장이 동문(同門)차원에서 우정참석해 눈길을 끌었다.
또 김진표 前 교육부 총리도 한국과 하이난간의 교류활성화의 업적을 중국 정부로부터 인정받아 초청되어, 자리를 함께 했다.
김진표 전 교육부 총리는 국내의 고위공직자 출신으로는 몇 안되는 ‘중국통’인사들중의 하나이다.
