The meeting, titled 'International Exposition Yeosu Korea 2012‘, and whose theme is 'the Living Ocean and Coast', hosted by Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Fisheries, was held July 30 11:00 AM at Lotte Hotel.
Today's meeting was opened with greetings by the Minister, and followed by the representative foreign shipping company.
'Also there were lots of discussions how to promote International Exposition Yeosu Korea 2012 and we rquested for foreign shipping companies to support it' said the organizer.
According to organizer, the background of this meeting was derived from Korean government's positive promotion activities, like that President Roh has sent a letter to the 97 BIE(Bureau International des Expositions)member countries to seek their support.

강무현 해양수산부 장관의 인사말로 시작된 오늘 미팅은 국내에서 활동중인 주요 外國船社들에게 여수 엑스포의 환경이나 기대효과등을 알리는 홍보차원이라고 관계자는 전했다.
