‘길거리 찬양의 땅(Street Gospel Music Land)’이라는 뜻의 SGMLAND는 사역의 출발지를 길거리로 잡고 길에서 복음을 전하며 길에서 하나님 영광을 노래한다. SGMLADN의 전도는 전방위적이다. SGM 길거리교회를 세우고 주일마다 서울을 비롯한 전국 곳곳을 돌며 찬송복음을 전하고 예배를 드리며 노숙자들에게는 따뜻한 옷과 침낭을 나눈다. 아픈 이들이 있는 필리핀, 캄보디아, 베를린을 찾아가 몸과 마음의 통증을 치유하고 하나님의 사랑을 전하는 모노드라마를 공연해 감동적인 선교를 펼치기도 한다. 생각만으로도 가슴 따뜻해지는 SGMLAND. 이 단체를 이끄는 사람은 황수희 전도사다.

하나님 알려주신 그 사랑, 세상 곳곳에 전하고파
2005년 6월 하나님의 사도로서 역할을 다하겠다는 뜻으로 설립된 SGMLAND는 대학로 마로니에 공원을 시작으로 독일 베를린, 캐나다, 캄보디아 등 전세계 열방의 길거리를 다니며 하나님을 찬양하고 있다. 황수희 대표는 “SGM 길거리 찬양단은 하나님의 거룩하신 뜻을 길에서 찬양하는 단체입니다. 길 위의 외로운 이들에게 손을 내미는 일이야말로 최고의 사역이라 생각합니다.”라고 전했다. 수많은 사역지 중에 길거리를 선택한 이유는 무엇일까. “살아가면서 배신당하고 유린당했을 때 가장 마음아파 하셨던 분, 바로 하나님이십니다. 성경말씀대로 누군가를 변화시키면서 살아야겠다. 결심했을 때 길거리로 나와 사람들에게 외쳐야 함을 깨달았습니다.” 특정 계층을 향한 외침도 아니요, 무엇인가를 바라는 외침도 아니다. 단지 하나님 사랑을 외칠 수 있는 목소리만 있으면 된다. 목소리조차 없다면 박수라도 치고 박수도 칠 수 없다면 마음만 나눌 수 있어도 된다. 각계각층의 재능 있는 사람들이 같은 뜻으로 하나 된 SGMLAND의 설립취지다.

나는 하나님의 로비스트, 전도는 기획이다.
황수희 대표는 단순한 선교자이기 앞서 하나님의 사랑을 증거하는 하나님의 로비스트이고자 한다. 스포츠마사지, 발관리, 비만관리 등 16개의 강사자격증을 취득한 것도 하나님의 일꾼이자 기획자이기를 간절히 원했기 때문이다. “전도는 성경말씀을 그대로 전하는 기획이어야 합니다. 사랑하며 드리는 깊은 기도, 그리고 그 기도를 통해 이루어지는 지구의 땅끝까지 어디라도 달려갈 것입니다.”라는 뜻을 밝혔다. SGMLAND는 예수님 12사도를 본받아 12개의 단체를 가지고 있다. SGMLAND는 다양한 분야의 기획 및 컨설팅 사업부를 비롯해 고통받는 이들의 통증을 치유하는 통증치유연구소, 메시아를 작곡한 헨델을 통해 클래식 문화를 대중화하는 헨델연구소, 찬송CCM을 알리고 보급하는 찬양연구소를 비롯해 청소년 장학기관인 꿈땅장학회, 복지민주사회를 꿈꾸는 구국청년기도회, 노숙인들의 새 출발을 돕는 아침빛기쁨공동체 등 국가가 정책적으로 해결하지 못한 여러 분야를 성경적으로 풀어나가는 데에 최선을 다하고 있다.
여성 대통령의 시대, 여성의 강함과 부드러움으로 포용과 관용의 정치를 베푸는 대통령을 기대한다는 황수희 전도사. 사랑의 본질을 가지고 세상과 마주하며 하나님이 주신 하루 속에 섬김의 도리를 다하고 살겠다는 이 사람이 대한민국의 내일을 여는 진정한 여성리더이다.

Spreading love of God to the world

SGMLAND, abbreviation for ‘Street Gospel Music Land’, is carrying out the ministry of the gospel and singing the glory of God on the streets as a starting point. The mission work of SGMLADN is in full range. SGM sets up churches on the streets, preaches the gospel and has a service across the country every Sunday, and hands out clothes and sleeping bags to the homeless. Plus, it visits the Philippines, Cambodia, and Berlin taking care of the sick and poor and touching their souls by performing a monodrama with the message of God's love in it. SGMLAND is full of heart-warming works. It is missonary Suhee Hwang who is in charge of it.
Want to spread the love of God to every corner of the world
SGMLAND established on the strong will of being devoted to God's work as one of his faithful disciples in June, 2005 started its mission in Maroniae Park in Daehakro, Seoul and advanced into the streets of Berlin, Germany, Canada, and Cambodia to praise God. Ms. Hwang said, "the members of SGM are those who preach the holy teachings of God on the streets. I think helping out the lonely on the streets is missionaries' first thing to do". Among lots of places, why does she choose the streets for mission? She mentioned, "when we are betrayed and abandoned, the one who feels sorry most is God. At the moment when I decided to spend my life on helping people make themselves change as the Bible says, I realized what I need to do was being out and making the voice heard on the streets". The voice is not for a certain group or her selfish desire. It is needed only for the purpose of spreading God's love. Without voice, clapping is enough. Even without clapping, the willing to share is all we need. That is the exact object of its establishment which puts the talented from all walks of life together.

I am God's lobbyist and believe planning is needed for mission, too
Ms. Hwang says she is the Lord's lobbyist proving His love rather than just a simply missonary. The reason why she got 16 different certificates including sports massage, foot care, and obesity management was she desperately wanted all of her abilities to be used in a lot of ways as His worked and planner. She told, “I think missionary work should be based on a thorough planning to clearly deliver what the Bible says. While praying with the whole heart, I will go anywhere in the world". SGMLAND has 12 departments reflecting the twelve Disciples. They are a department of planning and consulting, a research center for easing pain, Handel center naming after Handel, composer of Messiah to popularize classical music, a music center to spread contemporary christian music, CCM, GgumDdang scholarship foundation for adolescents, GuGook youth prayer group to hope for democratic welfare society, and AchimBichGibbum community to help the homeless make a new start. All these groups are doing their best to help in a christian way to solve such issues that the country struggles to address with its policies. Ms Hwang finally adds hoping that as we are welcoming the era of the first female president, the incoming leader practices the politics of engagement and tolerance with the mix of her power and gentleness. We can find aspects of the genuine, future-oriented female leader that the country wants in Ms. Hwang who is committed to spend every moment the Lord is given to her on serving others with the love of God.
