President Song, Jin-Ho who is representing the Korea Federation of International Family, a board president of the Korea race movement Leader Federation and a board president of the Olympic Organizing Committee of the International Buddhist Civilization is emphasizing that realizing the peace for the public humanity is a must-mission for the future generation by people in this era and his many titles of organizations tell this as well. In a word, it means people have to work with a long term view in this global time. That event was run by the Korea Federation of International Family, Promotion committee of prayer service for the national unification, International Association for the new millennium and new life, Federation Group of the Peaceful Unification of Korean race, Korean Cyber National Assembly and Miracle City Construction Agency and President Song hosted the whole ceremony. It was composed of the section one of congratulatory messages and Award for people of merit and the section two of Awardof Miracle City Construction Agency in a row, which slogan of the event was 'The Light of the Orient Peace KOREA 2014, we are proud of Korea'.

President Song spoke, ¡°The Independence Movement Day was an opportunity to show that people in Korea were as one regardless of their titles, gender, location, religion, class and thoughts, which was we were beyond that. Just like that, we have to show again. To unify the liberal and independent unification by responding actively to the globalization era after resolution of the division of Korea, we need a public-spiritedness and patriotism, for that, I prepared for this.¡±

As for Carrying forward a plan for the international peace park of 1,800,000py in Ilwon area, North Gyeonggi, it is one of typical projects that President Song has been insisting on the understanding and generosity for each other, love, mercy and prosperity for the peaceful world construction. There will be a Tower of the World Peace, a Tower of prayer of UNITY and a Tower of the world finance as planned. It is reviewed as a great infra that will spread out as of his will of fulfilling the peaceful unification including activation of the local economy such as making more jobs for people. President Songis also taking the lead of building up 'DMZ Park'. It is a plan that President Park, Geun-Hye announced that when she had a speech in front of senators and representativeslast May. Korea is an island of the cold war and DMZ, which is called as a cold island, implies the unfriendly relationship betweenSouth and North, so if we make it to be a peaceful park, it must be something meaningful to end up with the cold war clearly in the international society, so it is why people are interested in and making a bond of sympathy.

Also, it must help the local economy a lot because of the total project money is about 250 million. Some proposed sites to North Korea would be clear around June. President Song used to have an event for letting people know why we need this project for the DMZ Park at Jongno gu community center last year. He emphasized, ¡°If DMZ Park plan would be more certain, it will be the starting point of Korea's peach and unification between South and North. North side should agree with this DMZ Park project with a long term view and also the international society should join us.¡± While taking about that, he said dark tourism will be popular in Korea sooner or later. This dark tourism is a type of tour program that people visit some places where some disaster and war events were happened in the past or something horrible was happened so as to get some learning and reflection on themselves.

President Song talked, ¡°Korean people used to realize the preciousness of the peace in life during the war. It is time for North Korea to remember that there is no success without upholding a cause. It means that he is saying that it is time to open a chance for the dream come ture with making the international ecology peace park at DMZ.

He is also working on the success prayer festival of the Incheon Asian Games as a sponsor president. The slogan of the games is 'Diversity Shines Here'. It means that Asia becomes the one to make the bright future by friendship and harmony and seeks for the world peace for the humanity. Last February, he used to host the success prayer festival of the Asian Games at the construction hall in Gangnam-gu.

Business related to the Korea Federation of International Family is one of President Song's core volunteering and it has a deep love for other people who are neglected by the society. He is doing for the mixed blood family, international marriage family and family naturalized as a Korean citizen so as to find their human rights in this country. International families in Korea are clearly Koreans because they are living here. However, plenty of humiliation and sadness that they had to go through in Korea while they live here is just unbelievably terrible. They have been struggling with that becausetheir skin colors are not the same as Koreans. By his explanation, the international family includes overseas Koreans. Former of the Korea National Red Cross who is Seo, Young-Hoon and former prime minister who is Gang, Young-Hoon used to be a president of this organization. President Song confirmed, ¡°According to the statistical date, nowadays, one couple out of then couples is an international marriage couple. So to speak, it is a global time and if anybody's nationality is Korea, everyone is Korean who is living in there. Eight millions of international families are human resources that Korea needs so badly. Therefore, I will make a milestone to raise the national status throughout many private interchanges and enhance national prestige in the vanguard.”

The Korea Federation of International Family is grasping the current situation of the mixed blood family and developing an activity like a petition for legislation for regaining the impaired reputation and even trying to establish an alternative school for them. He talked about Germany and Japan that the US army is located in those countries. The countries' governments are responsible for the education of the mixed blood family. By that, he emphasized, ¡°There should be a policy for the neglected group by setting up for systems such as the mandatory employment quota system and programs for the educational staff and social consciousness reform to break down the prejudice, and so Korean's view point of the world should be changed by that as well.”

Chairman of the Culture exchange for the International Youth of PDI among The US, Indonesia and Congo

President Song is responsible for a general chairman of the Economic corporation committeebetween Korean and Indonesia, which is working for two countries to strengthen the exchangeable corporation. As an Asian chairman, he explains that Indonesia is the country we have to have a close relationship due to their population, the natural resources and Korea's status in Asia. Besides, as a chairman of the Culture exchange for the International Youth of PDI among The US, Indonesia and Congo, he is performing his duty as a bridge there. He is running the Saemaeul military academy to realize the peace with diligence, self-help and collaboration and for the corporation with other countries and stability.

In addition, President Song is carrying out the memorial ceremony for victims from the pacific war around the independence movement day and national liberation day to enhance our ethnic spirit. It is that he is promoting the holy work to bring about 700,000 flags with their revengeful spirits back to their home. By that, President Song said, ¡°Ancestral tablets in Japan are celebrated only for the people who took the name changing program at that time, so we have to try to find out more victims back then with putting the power between private and public organizations. I am preparing for the bowl that I can put the effort from South Korea, North Korea, China, South-EastAsia, all these countries are trying to work together for the peace, but only with a condition that Japan has to confess their sins in front of us.¡±

In fact, it needs lots of money to do carry out for the huge projects, so President Song is busy to manage TRSFuture Planet Company and The Asan Miracle City Company as a CEO.

As his Buddhist name is 'Wongyung' implies, he is looking at the world peace and human beings' clean spirits with a wide generous heart and practicing bodhisattva spirit! After all, we can say that there is a hope on earth because the wise and master like him.

(사)국제가족한국총연합 총재, (사)한민족운동지도자연합회 이사장, 세계불교문화올림픽조직위원회 이사장, 한민족바로세우기단체연합회 총재 등 직함에서 보듯 송진호(宋鎭鎬) 총재는 인류공영을 위한 평화실현이야말로 이 시대를 사는 사람들이 미래세대를 위해 꼭 다져놓아야 할 사명임을 강조하고 있다. 글로벌 시대에 넓고 높은 안목으로 일해야 한다는 설명이다. 송 총재가 추진하는 일들이 작게는 한국 내 지방자치단체 일에서부터 국제간 협력 사안까지 다종다양함이 잘 말해주고 있다.

예컨대 2월27일 서울 강남구 논현동 건설회관에서 ‘제18대 박근혜 대통령 취임 1주년 기념 및 3·1절 기념행사’는 송 총재의 애국애족정신과 세계평화를 위한 철학을 고스란히 보여주고 있다. (사)국제가족한국총연합, 국민대통합기도회추진위원회, (사)새천년새생활국제협회, 한민족평화통일단체연합, 민족통합무궁화연합중앙회, 대한민국사이버국회, (사)한민족운동지도자연합회, 미라클시티건설사업단 등이 주최하고 송 총재가 총괄주관한 행사는 “동방의 등불 Peace KOREA 2014 대한민국이 자랑스럽니다”를 슬로건으로 내걸고 1부는 축하메시지 및 공로자 시상식, 2부 미라클시티건설단 시상식 순으로 진행됐다.

송 총재는 “3·1운동은 우리 민족이 남녀노소, 지역, 종교, 계층, 사상을 초월해 하나됨을 보여주었듯 우리가 남북분단을 해소하고 세계화시대에 능동적으로 대처해 자유민주적 평화통일을 이루고 21세기 선진 한민족의 세기를 실현하기 위해선 투철한 국가관 및 애국관이 요구되고 있어 이 같은 행사를 마련했다”고 말했다.

경기북부 일원 180만평 세계평화공원 조성 추진

송 총재가 강조하는 서로에 대한 이해와 관용, 사랑과 자비, 번영이 넘치는 세계 건설을 위한 방안 가운데 경기 북부 일원 약 180만평 부지에 세계평화공원 조성을 추진하고 있는 것은 대표적 프로젝트다. 여기에는 ‘세계평화탑’ ‘통일기원탑’ ‘세계금융타워’ 등을 세울 방침이다. 또한 세계문화단지와 정보통신기술(ICT) 시범단지, 영상문화단지 등도 함께 들어설 계획이다. 고용 창출 등 지역경제 활성화는 물론 평화구현의 의지를 세계만방에 떨칠 인프라로 평가되고 있다. 미라클사업단은 1,2,3단계별로 추진된다.

송 총재는 ‘비무장지대(DMZ) 평화공원 조성’에도 앞장서고 있다. 박근혜 대통령이 지난 해 5월 미국 방문 시 상·하원 합동연설에서 밝힌 구상이다. ‘냉전의 섬’인 한반도에서 그 냉전성을 대변하는 지역이 DMZ이고 여기에 평화공원이 조성된다면 이는 국제사회에서 진정한 냉전종식을 의미하는 대사건이 되기에 공감대가 큰 것이다.

총 사업비 2500억여원으로 인접 지역에 있는 관광자원과 연계해 복합관광을 할 경우 지역경제에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 북한에 제안할 후보지는 오는 6월께 윤곽을 드러낼 것으로 전망된다.송 총재는 지난해 서울 종로구민회관 등지에서 DMZ 평화공원 조성 당위성을 확산하는 행사를 주관한 바 있다. 그는 “DMZ 평화공원 조성이 가시화된다면 이는 한반도 평화와 통일의 시발점이 될 만하다”며 “북측은 보다 멀리 내다보고 DMZ 평화공원 조성에 동의하고 국제사회도 협력하는 게 마땅한 일일 것이다”고 강조했다. 그러면서 이른바 ‘다크 투어리즘’(dark tourism)관광이 한반도에서도 떠오를 것이라고 밝혔다. 다크 투어리즘은 베를린 장벽처럼 재난이 일어났거나 역사적인 비극이 벌어졌던 곳을 찾아가 반성을 하고 교훈을 얻기 위한 여행이다. 송 총재의 평화애호 정신에는 뚜렷한 기준이 있는 것이다.

송 총재는 "우리 민족은 평화의 소중함을 전쟁의 참혹함에서 이미 깨달은 바 있다"며 "‘십팔사략’ 중 '명분이 없는 전쟁은 결코 성공할 수 없다(兵出無名 事故不成)'"는 말을 북측이 되새겨야 할 때라고 힘주어 말했다. 전쟁 아닌 평화의 유지에 힘쓸 것을 권유하는 뜻이다. DMZ에 세계적인 생태 평화공원을 꾸며 평화세계의 꿈을 실현할 단초를 열어야 할 때라는 의미다. 그는 인천아시안게임성공기원축제후원회장으로도 활약하고 있다. 이번 대회의 표어는 '평화의 숨결, 아시아의 미래(Diversity Shines Here)'이다. 아시아 각국의 찬란하고 다양한 역사, 문화, 전통, 종교 등을 한자리에서 펼쳐 보이고, 우정과 화합을 통해 인류 평화를 추구하며 아시아가 하나 되어 빛나는 아시아의 미래를 만들어 나아가자는 의미가 담겨져 있기에 국민의 한 사람으로서 인천아시안게임의 성공적 개최를 염원하고 있다는 게 송 총재의 설명이다. 지난 2월에는 서울 강남구 소재 건설회관에서 아시안게임 성공 기원 축제를 주관한 바 있다.

송 총재가 역점을 두고 있는 봉사 중 (사)국제가족한국총연합 관련 사업은 어느 부문보다 이웃에 대한 참된 사랑이 진하게 배어 있다. 혼혈인 가족, 국제결혼 가족, 해외 입양 혼혈인 가족, 해외동포 가족과 귀화 외국인 가족 등의 권리를 찾는 일을 한다. 국제가족은 한국에서 살고 있는 분명한 한국인이다. 하지만 그들이 한국에서 살면서 한국 사회로부터 당한 수모와 설움은 이루 다 말로 표현할 수가 없다. 단지 피부색깔이 다르다는 이유 한가지만으로….

소외되고 차별받는 사람들을 모두 껴안는 뜻에서 편견으로 물든 ‘혼혈인’ 대신 외국에 나가있는 한국인 동포까지 포함하는 ‘국제가족’이라는 명칭을 붙였다고 설명한다. 모든 국제가족은 당당한 대한민국의 국민이라며 국가와 사회가 관심과 이해와 사랑으로 모두 감싸 안아야 한다고 말했다. 서영훈 전 대한적십자사 총재와 강영훈 전 총리 등이 총재를 역임한 바 있다. 송 총재는 “요즘 결혼하는 10쌍 중 한 쌍은 국제결혼을 하는 국제화 시대에 외국인이든 혼혈인이든 대한민국의 국적을 가지고 있다면 분명히 국가의 구성원인 모두가 같은 대한민국의 국민”이라며 “800만 국제가족들은 대한민국이 필요로 하는 인적자원으로서 민간외교의 선봉에서 국위선양하고 민간교류를 통하여 국가신인도를 드높이는 근간을 마련해 나갈 것”이라고 확신한다.

(사)국제가족한국총연합은 혼혈가족들의 현황파악과 대안학교 설립, 명예회복을 위한 입법청원 활동을 전개하고 있다.그는 미군이 주둔한 나라중 독일과 일본의 경우만 해도 혼혈인들에 대한 교육을 정부가 책임지고 있음을 들며 “정책적으로 소외집단에 대한 의무고용제 등의 제도 마련과 편견을 타파하기 위한 교직원의 교육과 사회의식개혁 프로그램을 통해 세계화시대의 한국인의 의식전환도 있어야 한다”고 역설했다.

미․인니․콩고 PDI 세계청소년문화교류위원장

송 총재는 한국과 인도네시아 간 교류 협력을 강화하는 ‘한․인니 경제협력추진위원회 총괄위원장’도 맡고 있다. 아세안 의장국가로서 인구와 자원, 역내 국가에서의 위상을 감안할 때 인도네시아야말로 우리가 교류를 더욱 긴밀히 해야 할 국가라는 설명이다. 그는 미국의 정치외교력 및 자본, 인도네시아와 아프리카 콩고의 무한한 성장 잠재력을 묶는 개발계획추진방법(PDI)의 세계청소년문화교류위원장으로서 가교 역할을 긴밀히 수행하고 있다고 소개했다. 그는 인도네시아 등 역내 국가의 협력과 안정을 위해 근면 자조 협동의 새마을운동 정신으로 평화를 구현하기 위해 새마을사관학교를 운영하고 있다.

송 총재는 우리 겨레의 민족정기 선양을 위해 3.1절과 광복절을 전후해 태평양전쟁희생자들에 대한 위령제도 봉행하고 있다. 일본과 남양군도 각지에 산재해 있는 일제 강점 하 원혼 70여만기를 국내로 봉환하는 성업(聖業)을 추진하고 있는 것이다. 이에 대해 송 총재는 "일본 내 조선인 피해자 위패는 창씨개명한 이만 모셔져 있기에 민관이 힘을 합해 피해자 확인에 더 노력해야 한다"며 "일본이 참회하고 그 바탕에서 한국과 북한, 중국, 동남아 제국이 평화를 위해 함께 노력하는 모습을 위해 저는 이를 담을 그릇을 준비하고 있다"고 밝혔다.

글로벌 수준의 대형 프로젝트를 수행하기 위해선 적잖은 재원이 소요되기에 송 총재는 (주)TRS퓨처플래닛과 (주)더아산미라클시티 등의 기업 대표이사로서도 분주한 일정을 보내고 있다.
