The5th "2008 Gunsan International Migratory Bird Festival" willbe heldfrom Nov. 19 to 23, this year under the sponsorship of the City of Gunsan Government.
"Meanwhile The main venues for the festival will be the Geumgang Bird Observatory and Lake Geumgang area" said Gunsan City.
" So this annual event, with the slogan "A Migratory Bird-Watching Tour with Your Family," will bring together children and parents, and even foreign diplomats and their families, as well as many bird watchers " they added it.
군산시에 따르면, 이번 축제의 부대행사로 내년 2월22일까지 철새관측프로그램도 선보인다는 것.
한편 시 관계자는 이번 축제는 '가족과의 철새여행'이란 슬로건으로 진행되는데 주한 외교관을 비롯, 내외국인은 물론 가족, 철새 관측자들에게도 좋은 추억이 될것이라고 말했다.
