Korea's innovation's level flying to the near top of the world.
The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) said recently that Korea was placed the 2nd in the global innovation index in the group's research report.
According to BCG, Singapore topped the list, followed by Korea, Switzerland, Iceland and Ireland, in order.
The report wasmade, beingbased on the results of research conducted last September and October by three U.S. organizations such as the BCG, the Manufacturing Institute, and the National Association of Manufacturers.
The International Innovation Index is part of a broad study that looked at both the business outcomes of innovation and government's ability to encourage and support innovation through public policy, BCG added.

최근 미국 보스턴 컨설팅 그룹(BCG)이 지난해 9-10월간 세계각국의 비즈네스 분야 이노베이션과 이를 지원하는 정부의 대처능력등을 종합적으로 평가한 결과에 따르면, 한국은 세계 제 2위라는 것.
BCG 관계자는 이어 1위는 싱가폴이 차지했고, 2위는 한국, 3위는 스위스가 각각 차지했다고 밝혔다.
한편, 이번 집계는 BCG이외에도, 미국의 제조업협회등 다른 기관의 조사도 포함되었다.
