The LED sector in Taiwan’s industrieshas createdannual production value of over a trillion NT dollars.
“The local LED industry has been expecting a boom for quite a while. We are seeing large-volume orders coming in this year, especially from mainland China,” said Murphy Lin, director of the Industrial Research Division at the Taiwan-based Photonics Industry & Technology Development Association. “The time has finally come for the industry to shine,” he added it.
Recently according to Taiwan Today.com, Anticipating accelerated growth in the years to come, industry representatives from Taiwan and mainland China, Taiwan’s Bureau of Energy (a department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs) and the mainland’s Ministry of Science and Technology participated in the Photonics Festival in Taiwan
And they both hada series of conferences in early June to share their experiences in technology development and market promotion.
“Taiwan is a global leader in LED production, with output valued at NT$10 billion (US$305 billion) in 2008" said Taiwan's government.
최근 타이완 투데이에 따르면, 대만의 LED산업은 해외수주가 더욱 많아질것으로 분석했는데, 대만의 산업연구원 Murphy Lin 원장은 특히 지난 6월초에 있었던 대만과 중국간 정부차원에서의 LED 산업협력및 공동마케팅을 지목했다는 것.
대만과 중국은 올 6월초 여러차례 만남을 통해 국제시장에서의 공동 마케팅과 기술개발에 대해 논의해 왔는데, 대만은 세계적으로 LED사업의 강자로써, 지난 2008년의 경우 생산액은 미화 3000억달러를 넘어섰다.
