Taiwan's Presidential advisory group recommended recently that the government shouldmake upsteps to help the nation’s biotech industry.
This recommendations weremadeduringChristmasmeeting chaired by Vice President Vincent Siew.
According to a person familiar with affairs, The central government shouldfix a cross-ministerial plan to support Taiwan’s biotechnology sector, as soon as possible, suggesting that the bothwould establisha marketing companyfor INTLpromotion.
Meanwhile considering thatinvestment in the biotech sectorhas beenoften risky, Presidential advisory group suggested that the government should shoulder some of the investment risks, sharing with experiences.
