Delta Air Lines, the global U.S. airline, announced that they will start nonstop flights between Incheon and Atlanta , the world’s busiest airline hub, as of June 5, 2007.
Delta Air Lines’ Incheon-Atlanta nonstop routes, part of the airline’s growth in Asia, will be operated four times per week and widen travelers’ choices through a ‘code share system’ by sharing seats with SkyTeam® partner Korean Air.
Delta Air Lines and Korean Air will from now on offer a total of 11 flights per week, which timetables strategically complementing each other: Korean Air flights departing Incheon in the mornings, followed by Delta Air Lines flights departing in the evenings.

세계적 항공사인 미국 델타항공은 6월 5일부터 인천과 아틀랜타 간 직항 운항을 개시한다고 발표했다.
아시아 지역 항공 노선 성장의 일환으로써, 델타항공은 인천-아틀랜타 직항 노선을 주4회 운항하는 한편같은 스카이팀(SkyTeam)인 대한항공과 좌석을 공유하는 '코드 셰어 시스템'을 통해 여행객의 선택 폭을 넓힐 예정이다.
서로간 전략적 보완운행 안으로써, 대한항공은 오전, 델타항공은 오후에 출발하도록 인천-아틀랜타 노선의 출발시간을 조정하여 직항편을 주 11회로 확대 편성한다.
