AhnLab hosts the 10th annual AVAR2007 Conference at Seoul Plaza Hotel on November 29th to 30th
A global integrated security service provider, AhnLab (CEO, Seokjoo Oh, www.ahnlab.com), announced today that they will host 'AVAR2007 Conference’ for AVAR (Association of anti-Virus Asia Researchers)for two days in November.
In particular, AhnLab plans to hold this event on the largest scale ever with over 300 participants, including antivirus researchers as well as information security experts and officials from all over the world.
According to AhnLab, it will be the 10th anniversary of the conference.
AVAR is a non-profit association founded by the chairman of AhnLab and the chairman of JCSR (Japan Computer Security Research Center), Seigi Murakami, on June 1998.
The AVAR Conference is held annually in the main cities of Asia to solve virus issues together.
안철수 연구소가 올 11월 29일에서 30일까지 열리는 제 10회 AVAR(Association of anti-Virus Asia Researchers)2007을 주최한다.
안철수 연구소는 오늘 이같이 밝히면서 이번 행사는 300여명의 전문가들이 참가하는 최대규모의 것이라고 말했다.
안철수 연구소에 따르면, 이번 행사에는 세계각국에서 온 바이러스 연구진, 정보 보안 연구진들도 상당수 참석한다는 것.
AVAR는 지난 98년 안철수 연구소와 ‘일본 컴퓨터보안연구센터’(JCSR)이 공동설립한 비영리단체로 컴퓨터 바이러스의 공동대응을 목적으로 하고있는데 매년 아시아의 주요도시를 돌며 행사를 개최해 왔다.
